The stone with the rounded cone hollow was found by Aivars Igals, architect of the State Inspection for Heritage Protection, on 17 October 2008. Shortly before then the stone was dug out by the home owner, when he had dug the earth around 3 m from the house at 30 cm depth, where the former foundations of the house had been located. The current house is already very old and it was site-visited by architects. Dimensions of the stone: 0,77 x 0,60 x 0,43 m, circumference 2,05 m. Rapakivi granite surface bears a hollow in the shape of a pot – 23 cm in diameter, 14,5 cm deep.
The hollow stone is from the group of stones with rounded cone hollows, which is common in Zemgale region. There are no legends or other proof about it.
The stone is named after the name of the home.
