Legendary secular stone: 4,2 x 3,1 x 2,5 m large, circumference 12,70 m, volume – 13 cubic meters. Large-grained red granite. Around 80% of the surface is overgrown with moss. Two fragments from the stone are located on the side of it, in the river.
A legend explaining the origin of the name of the stone. The tailors (“skroderis” in Latvian) had rolled the stone uphill, but the stone had rolled down and injured the tailors. Since that time tailors are lame or otherwise handicapped.
An interesting nature tourism object; very interesting legend.
