A cup-marked stone and a stone of archaeological significance. Dimensions: length 2.7 m, width 1.2 m, height 2.3 m, circumference 6.8 m, volume 3 m3. Migmatite granite gneiss— purple-grey with non-homogenous structure. The stone surface is unevenly eroded, there are several cracks. The stone has been relocated. It might have once (maybe by drainage specialists) been positioned vertically and the surface where there are cup marks, might have been its top. The cup-marked stone was discovered by explorer A.Opmanis in 2007.
Several letters – „AĶ JB” have been carved in the stone surface in recent times, the carving is 0.2–0.3 cm deep. The cup-marked stone has been detected 110 cup marks which is one of the biggest number of such hollows in Latvia.
It has to be taken under the state protection as an archaeological monument. On the other side of the highway there is Spicais kalns – the Peaked Hill – the ancient seashore bluffs. From the top of it there is a far-reaching and wide view of the surroundings.
