Zeduļi Church Hill

Description

Local archaeological heritage (State Inspection for Heritage Protection, No 1630). Between the Zeduļi homestead and the Bērziņi homestead there is also the Zeduļi Ancient Burial Ground (Council of the Arona Parish, 2007).

Narrative

No recorded folklore materials have been found. The local people cannot tell anything about the site.

The proprietor of the Zeduļi is Modrīte. The property belongs to her father who is currently in the old people’s home.

The hill is visually inexpressive, overgrown with grass and trees. A path leads to the top of the hill, on the hill there is a garbage dump arranged that spoils the whole view of the hill.
