The Ikšķiles (Ēķin) multi-trunk linden (both larger and smaller trunks are forming on average a 7 m large tree cluster) is well visible from the nearby surroundings. There is pastureland around the linden that is why the linden and its nearby surroundings are trampled down by cattle. The cattle path goes right through the linden cluster, which has two larger trunks (the circumference of the largest trunk is 2.9 m). There are stones piled around the linden gathered from the field, but they are not too many in number. The large trunks of the linden have been broken; one of them has been sawn into pieces. There are quite many decaying branches and new bushes around the linden, but the linden’s new offsprings have been pollarded. They say that in ancient times the linden had 12 trunks. In 1994, G. Eniņš drew four trunks of the linden, the circumferences of which were 3.12, 3.18, 2.92, and 3.48 m. The height of the longest trunk at that time was 23 m.
The object is visually impressive.
