A holy burial ground for the late iron Age inhabitants. The large mounds are suggested to represent the chief or leader of the area. The graves and the forefathers have been both feared and worshipped. The mound represents the southern part of an area with large mounds from the Iron Age that streches up along the coast. This is Gästrikland’s only large mound.
