Dimensions of the stone: length – 5,05 m, width – 5,00 m, height – 1,30 m, circumference – 16,8 m, volume – 11 m3. Porous gneiss with a particularly flat surface. No carvings, nor other artificial transformations.
There are no legends or stories, but since the stone is located right at the foot of the castle mound and considering its particular shape it could be a probable ancient site.
The present hillfort is one of the most scenic and excellent in Selonia. Not far from it there is also a small hillock, which has been mentioned sometimes as a probable cult site.
