The Snakes’ Hill is a conical hillock. To outward seeming, the Snakes’ Hill is an ancient burial ground of the Early Metal Age. The Snakes’ Hill is covered by a small stage which is being under minor reconstruction now; both the stage and the nearby dancing floor are being used.
The Ezerkalni Devil’s Lap related to Devil’s activities in tales and legends and located on the opposite bank of the mill lake of the Ungurpils manor house is very close to the Snakes’s Hill if looked upon in straight line, and it is possible that if there were no millpond banks and the trees of the Ungurpils manor house, they could be seen from each other. The park around the Snakes’ Hill is taken care off. Near the Snakes’ Hill outside the Ungurpils park, there is an inhabited village.
